Creating a Polling Webhook for Xano

During the meeting, the State Changers discussed the issue of creating a polling webhook in Xano. They explained that while webhooks are typically used to receive data, the goal here is to pull data from a webhook. The State Changers decided to create a function to accomplish this task. They discussed the process of hitting the endpoint and checking for changes in the response. They suggested using a hash to track if the response has changed. However, they later discovered that the response always comes in as an array, so they decided to loop through the result and add records for each item. They also mentioned the option of logging the results to ensure that they can track previous responses. Finally, they discussed running the function as a background task, suggested running it every minute, and advised keeping all the webhooks in one task for efficiency. They noted that if any issues arise, the Xano community or office hours are available for further assistance.
