Decoding and Implementing a Front-end Calculator

In this meeting, the main topic of discussion is a code that the company purchased from another company. The code consists of a front-end and a back-end file. The front-end code is in TypeScript and is used to create a calculator that calculates HVAC pricing. The back-end code is in PHP and uses Laravel. The client wants to understand how the code works and how to integrate it into their project. Suggestions are made to use Visual Studio Code to view the code more easily and to set up a local development environment to run the code. The meeting participants also discuss the possibility of reaching out to the original developer for more information. The client's goal is to ultimately build a widget that can be installed on their website for users to input information and receive a quote for HVAC services. The next steps identified are downloading the code, getting it to run, and then analyzing it to understand how it works. The client also plans to explore a no-code approach to build a similar functionality if possible.
