Exploring SOAP APIs and Integrating with Xano

In this meeting, the State Changers discuss the use of SOAP APIs and REST APIs. SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) is an older technology that uses XML for communication, while REST (Representational State Transfer) uses JSON. The State Changers talk about the complexities of working with SOAP APIs in Xano, as Xano is more suited for working with JSON. They consider using a Lambda function to act as a proxy between Xano and the SOAP API to simplify the process. The State Changers also discuss the challenge of accessing a SOAP API sandbox and clarify that the IP address to whitelist would be the Xano IP address. They provide instructions on how to find the Xano IP address. The meeting ends with an offer to work with the State Changer to address the SOAP API challenge and set up a meeting with another person who is facing similar issues.
