In this meeting, the State Changers (And and Adam) discuss an issue with using Auth0 for authentication with Instagram. They discover that Instagram does not support using it as a login service like Facebook does. Instead, Instagram offers an API called Instagram Basic Display API, which can be used to authenticate that a user owns a username. They go through the steps of setting up the API and creating a URL to redirect users to Instagram for authentication. They also discuss how to handle the authentication code that is returned by Instagram and how to use it to get a token for accessing user information.
