Co-building Workflow Automations: Developing Solutions with Make and Integromat

In this meeting, the State Changers were introduced to Andy O'Neil, a seasoned freelancer who specializes in using Integromat and Make for workflow automations. These are typically geared towards small to medium-sized businesses with an emphasis on linking Make to other tools or similarly linking tools together with the aid of Make. Andy's approach towards freelancing is unique in that he involves his clients directly in the process of creating solutions, emphasizing on 'co-building' the project with them.

He explained this unique business model works in three different scenarios. The first is a short-term engagement where he solves an immediate problem and might not hear from those clients again. The second is an ongoing relationship where the client works independently but occasionally requires Andy's specialist input. The third and his preferred method is project co-building, where he almost entirely builds a project in the client's presence. This method eliminates much of the back and forth commonly associated with traditional freelancing, as it allows for real-time input, questions and changes from the client. Despite this meeting discussing workflow automations and the use of Integromat and Make, the meeting did not involve explicit references to other keywords such as Xano, WeWeb, FlutterFlow, Zapier, Outseta, Retool, Bubble, Adalo, AppGyver, AppSheet, Comnoco, Fastgen, Firebase, Google, OAuth, Stripe, Twilio, Airtable, DraftBit, Javascript, Typescript, React, Vue.js, JSX, HTML, CSS, lambda, serverless, ScriptTag, OpenAI, or AI21.
