In the custom query, they included conditions for matching either the start date or the end date. They then defined how to identify full weeks and half weeks within the system. This involved using Boolean fields to distinguish between them. A new conditional statement was created, filtering for half weeks within the same week as the initial full-week booking. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with the team feeling confident in their strategy to solve the booking overlap challenge.
