Exploring Consumer Behavior: Understanding Needs and Problem-Solving Approach in Product Development

The State Changers had a discussion about the human cognitive behavior in relation to their product marketing. They discussed how human cognitive behaviors often bypass logical thinking, and can provide insights into how best to position their product to potential customers. They invoked the importance of identifying a customer’s problem, rather than just discussing the product's functionalities. Instead of directly asking customers what they want, the participants suggested it might be more beneficial to ask customers what they don’t want, as consumers often can better articulate their problems than solutions. No specific technologies or tools such as "Xano", "WeWeb", "Zapier", "Google", "Stripe" etc were discussed in the transcript.
