Exploring Data Structures and References in Xano

The State Changers in this meeting discussed the concept of table references in a database context, with a particular focus on the platform Xano. They indicated that table references enforce referential integrity, preventing unindexed data from being added. Table references can form the basis of indices which may become vital later on. Despite their usefulness, one of the participants mentioned preferring integer values for flexibility and to avoid complexity while initially setting up the system. They highlighted that referential integrity could be more the role of the code than the underlying parts. They also discussed the need to avoid overly complex security settings in the early stages, to prevent hindrance to progress on feature development. Their discussion concluded with an intent to refactor some parts and continue development using Bubble.
