Troubleshooting Record Iteration and Function Editing in Xano

In this meeting, the State Changers discussed the process and problems related to managing records, specifically related to the gathering and organization of questions and their corresponding Likert scale. They utilized a Xano function that required optimization, particularly the sequencing of entries in one line.

A suggestion was made to replace the second addition (ad) record with an edit record by using the ID for more efficiency and avoiding duplication. It was advised to establish a pattern where they first add a record and then edit it based on additional information. One problem outlined was that the Xano function sometimes erased data, causing confusion and a need for re-validation. Consequently, a strategy was proposed where participants use the 'eyeball' option to ignore certain fields during records edition, thereby preserving their existing values. Should any issues arise with this proposed solution, the recommendation was to perform a small-scale test (i.e., three times, instead of 4,000) to validate the approach. Overall, the discussion revolved around optimizing data entry and organization using the Xano function. Key elements discussed included preservation of current records, efficient data editing and avoiding unnecessary duplications. The meeting ended with thanks and the anticipation of further deliberations on the subject in future.
